Reservations

We take reservations for future rentals as far in advance as you’d like to plan with no down deposit to hold the items.

Rental Periods

Standard Rental Rates are charged for time on rent, not for time in use.
1/2 Day: Any 4 - 5 hour rental period. In use 4 hours or less. After 6 hours the daily rate will be charged. (1/2 Day rental periods are not available on every item)
1/2 Day Overnight: Out after 4pm, due in 8am next day. In use 4 hours or less.
Daily: 24 hour period. Due back 24 hours from rental period start time. In use 8 hours or less.
Weekend: 4:00pm Friday to 8:00am Monday. In use 8 hours or less.
Weekly: Due 7 consecutive days later. In use 40 hours or less.
Monthly: Due 28 consecutive days later. In use 160 hours or less.

Daily: 1/8 of the daily rate per extra hour in use. or extra hours on rent.
Weekend: 1/8 of the weekend rate per extra hour in use. or extra hours on rent.
Weekly: 1/40 of the weekly rate per extra hour in use, 1/7 of the weekly rate per extra day on rent.
Monthly: 1/160 of the monthly rate per extra hour in use, 1/28 of the monthly rate per extra day on rent.

If excessive cleaning is required, especially of concrete on equipment or tools, the time spent cleaning will be charged to the customer at the shop time rate.

Charges for delivery and pickup of equipment are based upon millage from King Equipment Rentals to the rental site for particular item(s) rented. Ask for a delivery/pickup quote for your rental when you make your reservation.

All rental units start with a full tank of fuel. You are responsible for the fuel used during your rental. You can top the machine’s fuel off before return or we can charge you for filling it at our fuel rate.

King Equipment Rentals protects you from inclement weather on rentals for periods 1 week or longer.
If you encounter inclement weather during your rental of outdoor equipment, we will extend your rental by 1 day per week of rental at no additional charge.
This program allots 1 additional day per week of rental on outdoor equipment and up to 4 days per 4 week billing cycle.
“Unused” additional days in any 4 week cycle do not carry forward.
Standard hour meter limits still apply based on the rental period. This program extends the rental period and does not offer a credit against rental fees.

If a client returns an item after the initial due-back time has passed the client will be responsible for paying the extra time they possessed the machinery. If our equipment is not returned in a reasonable amount of time with no contact from the client we will assume the equipment stolen and take the required legal actions.
